Welcome Military Wifey's!
I'm Alia- 20 something wife, mommy, sister, daughter, and auntie :)
I love my God and my incredible husband, and my family means everything to me.
I started blogging just in November of 2009, so I'm a newbie :)
I have 2 gorgeous kiddos, Alijah is 4 and Aubree is 14 months :) I am married to my sweet husband Tim, a SGT. in the Army. We are a PROUD army family and I am so proud to support my husband who literally fights for everything he believes in. I strive to live a life God has planned for me and try to give him praise in everything I do and I hope to pass these same beliefs and LOVE of God onto my children.
I plan on one day becoming a lactation consultant. But for now I am a stay at home mommy and wouldn't change it. My husband brings home the bacon and I cook it for him, it works well for us :)
We literally are finishing up our deployment and I couldn't be more excited.
I hope you plan to follow along :) It's a crazy and wild ride!

four

4 years ago I was having contractions 6 weeks early, so I called my doctor and she assured me everything was fine, I would come into the hospital and they would give me a shot to stop my pre-term labor. I called my husband who was just getting off of work and told him what was going on and told him he didn't even need to come to the hospital (My parents where driving me) well of course he came right away. 2 shots and 16 hours later I gave birth 6 1/2 weeks early to my beautiful 5 pound 2.5 oz baby boy.
As soon as he came out he wasn't crying but they held him up for me to see and rushed him out to the NICU. He was on the ventilator for 24 hours and then was in NICU for 2 more weeks on oxygen, and eating through a feeding tube through his nose. He was so strong and completely in charge. When they tried to give him a bottle he refused and wanted to nurse.
Alijah Evan
Alijah means- "The Lord is my God"
and Evan means- "Well Born".
It fits him perfectly.
He decided when to come into this world and nothing was going to stop him lol. He is so stubborn just exactly like his daddy and he wants things on his terms.
Alijah- you changed my entire life. You were the best thing that could have ever came along at the exact perfect time. I am so proud to be your mommy.
I love you with every single ounce of my being.
Love, Mommy
Hey don't forget to check out my giveaway! It ends this friday!

Super-Hero Capes have taken over

Saturday, April 17, 2010

Yes ladies, I have been consumed, with packing, and cleaning and making super-hero capes. Big A turns 4 in just a few short days ( I will bawl my eyes out) and he is having a combo party with his friend and we are doing a super-hero theme. So I have been cutting ribbon and shapes and pillow cases until i could go crazy lol. They turned out so cute and as part of the party the kiddos will each get a cape and decorate their own, with the foam shapes and fabric markers. I know, its the best idea... ever.. lol
So that's what we have been up to in the O household and I am still looking for a house :( I only have one more week in NM and then I have to make the trek to ft. hood. With the kids. UGH. I'm so not looking forward to that, but just a few weeks later my husband should be home! And all I'm saying is he owes me big, BIG, for having to find a house on my own lol. It's not like he is busy or anything. HA
The Super Hero party is tomorrow, I'll post pics of the capes soon!
And don't forget the give-away! Birthday tutu's for a little woman!
