wishes for a wednesday

My wish list:

1.my hubby left this morning and i wish he didn't have to go back :( yes I'm being a bit of a baby about it) The army IS NOT my friend at this moment.

2. To find a gorgeous 4 bedroom house in ft.hood that doesn't cost 1500 a month... seriously if it's not mine I refuse to pay that much

3.Can i please please pretty please have someone pack up my house and then unpack it once i find the above wish?? I mean a girl can ask lol

4. I'm about to start training for my 5k marathon and I really need some good running shoes, any suggestions??

Strech Marks, Varicose Veins, and Sagging Parts - OH MY!

Since my husband has returned home skinny and ripped,( p90x style) I have had super low self esteem, I normally don't feel so self conscious, but let me just say apparently the devil is trying to get into my head.. But I will vent for one minute. :)

-I have Stretch marks in places I seriously did not know I even had (I'm not kidding). My tummy is officially never ever EVER bikini worthy... or my booty for that matter.

-I'm starting to get varicose veins.... ummmmm seriously, I'm 23 years old and I'm not pregnant now so what the heck!

-wooo my body will just never be the same, I've got some things sagging i didn't know would sag like that, I feel like I should sing that song "do your ears hang low" but obviously I'll change the ears part LOL

-So really, being pregnant to me is so so much fun, but it has forever wrecked the body I was once so super proud of and the fact that I could once wear normal shorts :)

So from now on I'm looking at these things as my battle wounds, If guys are proud of scars from fights etc. I can be proud of the wrecking pregnancy took on my skinny 128 pound body, because I got 2 BEAUTIFUL babies out of my battles. Do You have battle scars?

This Life

It's so weird to think of all the things that are going on right now.

-Hubs is here :) INSERT HUMONGOUS SMILE HERE

-But explaining to a 3 year old daddy has to go back to work is NOT fun

-thinking about packing up and moving back to Ft. Hood makes me want to throw up seriously.... no really

-My "baby" will be 4 years old in less than a month.... I don't know about you guys but I haven't aged one bit in four years so how my son did, I have no idea

-R&R is almost over... It makes me so sad :(

-Leaving my sister here in NM and preggers makes me super super sad ( I'm a sucker for babies)

But hey I really don't think I can complain....

Watching both Twilight's with my hubby = AMAZING
Cuddling with him on the couch = Even more AMAZING
And I am about to eat a huge Oreo Cookie Milkshake and watch American Idol

Could Life be any more perfect??

My soldier is HOME ♥

We picked him up on Monday :)


There are now 2 toothbrushes on my bathroom counter,
Army boots by my front door,
Cammies in the hamper,
Welcome home signs hanging on the garage door,
welcome home balloons out in the front yard
And a handsome man is wrestling on the floor with the little man,
My Yellow Ribbons Are taking a break :)
And I have never been so happy to sit in this rocking chair and watch my family play :)

The WOMAN

The WOMAN:

- is getting more beautiful every single day
-is learning to fight back with Big A and sometimes even though he will be minding his own business she'll go up and get a piece on her own :)
- can play gorgeous music with a sucker in her mouth
- thinks its HILARIOUS to stand up in the tub even though I tell her a million times to sit down on that shiny hinney LOL

And even more so is going to shock the pants off her daddy, because he really thinks she will never get big.

Little A, I love you more every single day ♥
You are getting to big too fast and I want you to stay a baby forever.

And look at the pure honery-ness in this picture, I'm worried to think what I'll have to worry about when they are *sigh* TEENAGERS!

Scrappin' Fool

My number one obsession is scrap booking, taking adorable pictures and making them even more adorable by putting gorgeous paper, lettering, embellishments, and all sorts of things and making it EVEN better. My bestie Lauren, is the PRO cropper and helps me make my layouts even more gorgeous than I could have even imagined, so in an effort to repay her genius, I want to tell you about her new blog: First of all it's adorable and Second of all she is selling beautiful layouts.. I'm officially sick of being sick, I don't get migraines often, but when I do, ITS AWFUL! It hit me on Monday in the dressing room at Cato ( which Cato is one of my favorite stores ♥) but I couldn't even drive home. Thank GOD My mama was with me cause I don't know how I could have gotten home. So needless to say I am still at my parents--- I'm super ready to go home. To get the house ready for my handsome husband, stock up the fridge, and get him some new underwear and socks :) I can't believe I'm excited to buy those kinds of things lol but I am :)

Big A is down to counting down "sleeps" until daddy gets home. He keeps telling me he is going to get a "piece" of daddy ( that means wrestling and my boys LOVE wrestling and getting a piece of each other) Yes, adorable I know :)

Little A is working on the walking and the 2 teeth that have popped through on the bottom :) So so stinkin' cute :)

Ladies I'm pumped, I can't contain my excitement. I can't wait to use my double rocker for the first time in months and rock our babies to sleep, and cuddle and watch a movie, and I am going to pour us a big celebratory glass of wine :0 Go us for making it to R&R, I'm so proud.

11 Days!

YES, that's right I'm down to 11 days! It feels super surreal, but incredibly amazing! I can't wait to see that man walk through the airport. Aah I am so excited I almost have no words to say besides, YES YES YES!!!
I got a super cute dress from Dress Barn yesterday, for one of our planned dates. We are going to ride the tram up the mountain and eat at a place called "High Finance", it's a lame name, but I've heard its incredible :) I still need one more dress for our other fancy date at Vernon's steakhouse, its a speakeasy and you have to have a special code and you go underground to a secret room to eat and I am so pumped. I still haven't decided what to wear to the airport... I know that sounds lame but I want to look gooooood not just good lol. But not like I'm trying way to hard. This is what I'm thinking for the kiddos

oh so super adorable, but I'm really trying to find pink for little A. (Who by the way is officially walking) *tears* I really wanted her to wait for Daddy, but she just decided she wasn't waiting.

I CAN'T WAIT. My first kiss and hug in seven months :)

Survival Sister

If you haven't heard about http://www.wivesoffaith.org/ you need to head over there. it is an awesome website for christian military wives (of all types) and it is just a good place to go when you are feeling down or maybe needing a different point of view. If you look on my blog I am doing the spring semester of Survival sisters.

I met my sister this week, and I am beyond excited to get to know her, and learn more about the bible and have a person who is so anxious to get to know me :) I mean I don't know who wouldn't want to get to know me lol
This week we are learning about Ruth and more about our sister, how they were proposed to, how long they've been married, anything! I know this is just going to be an awesome way to wrap up this deployment and to help her start her deployment in April. I mean we all need a survival sister and I couldn't think of a better time for me to have one. alia
